It’s Ok To Be Proud

 

If you’ve passed your GCSE’s – it’s ok to be proud. If you’ve just got a promotion – it’s ok to be proud. Anything you do that is an accomplishment, even the smallest things, always be proud – but remember to be humble. Things will seem so much better.

Sometimes I feel like I haven’t achieved anything, but as I look over the last few years of my life, I come to realise how much I really should be proud of.

 

 

 

I GOT MARRIED

I’m proud to be married. I’ve found the man I want to spend the rest of my life and eternity with – now that’s something right?

 

I PASSED MY GCSE’S

Some parts of my GCSE’s I did struggle with, but I did it. I PASSED – and I am very proud of them. Although they may not be straight A’s, I am amazed at myself, and that’s all that matters.

 

I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB

It may not be the most amazing job but it’s ok for now. I’ve come so far and I’ve learn’t so much. Onwards and upwards!

 

I GOT ON A PLANE -ALONE- AT 16

In Summer of 2016 I went to Spain to visit a Spanish family for 2 weeks. I had to get on the plane – as by myself – scary stuff. I’ve got to admit I was incredibly nervous, my anxiety levels were through the roof! I didn’t want my grandparents to leave me at departures, but I managed to do it, bearing in mind I hadn’t been on a plane in 6 years or so.

 

WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE

This is a huge step for Matthew and I – I mean we’re young and I’m a house? Crazy! But it’s what we want and what we want to do, own our own house. I always dreamed of decorating my own house they way I want it and throw a house-warming party with all my family and friends. It is just me or do others have this desire?

 

I’VE LEARNED TO COOK

I’ve learned the family trade – I’ve inherited the food genes. My cooking is top notch – well that’s what others have told me. Whenever I put a meal on the table, I am always proud of my achievement – and why shouldn’t I be?

 

 

I have my whole life ahead of me, so many things to do and so many goals to achieve. I’ve made the decision to continually set goals – so there isn’t a time where I don’t know where I’m aiming to go.
